Spontaneous Mediumship Reading

Updated: Jun 15, 2024

I intentionally ‘turn off’ my Mediumship abilities when I am not working, most Mediums do, otherwise we would be bombarded with information all the time.

While I enjoy watching television shows about Mediums who spontaneously read people in public, I feel that it’s not appropriate in most instances to do so when a person is not emotionally prepared to get a message from Spirit.

In some cases, one of my Guides will nudge me more strongly to give a message and I’ll go with it. . .this happened last week as I was in a Salon.

I was traveling and made an appointment with a hair stylist I had not met before.

Dan was a nice guy, very engaging, asked me about myself and I told him I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Medium.

During the haircut, every time I closed my eyes and Dan stepped in front of me, my Gate Keeper guide came in.

The Gate Keeper is a guide who works with me and lets one Spirit in at a time when I am reading for someone so a reading does not become confusing. He also generally does not show up if I’m not working.

After the Gate Keeper showed up a number of times, I mentally told him, "OK, if there is someone Dan really needs to hear to hear from, you can let them in."

I saw a Lion (representing cat energy to me), then the face of a beautiful black cat with big green eyes came right in front of my face, and there was the feeling that there was another cat with him.

I asked Dan, "Did you have cats?"

He took a step backwards, and said, "Yes, I've had five cats."  I told him I felt two around him in spirit and he said he had just lost two, I described the black cat with green eyes, he said, "That's my boy, Harry!"

He told me of his grief over losing pets, how hard it is to bear and that he's not sure he could get another one right now because it hurts so much when they die.

I told him I understood and that I hoped it helped to know that they are still around him.

I shared that another cat in spirit had told me that the Creator/Universe/call it what you will, had deliberately planned it that our cats and dogs do not live as long as we do to help us experience Unconditional Love and to learn how to process grief.

Dan smiled. I hope that it brought some peace to his grieving heart to know that his cats pushed through to get me to deliver a message to him that day.

Love NEVER dies!
